We are working with Wayland Custom Embroiderty and Design to put up Civil War History Shirts. It is our first endeavor with Zazzle and we are experimenting with their marketing and fulfillment services.

I have decided to build a new website to try to fill a gap that I see in the Computer business forums online. I have been an active participant in several computer business related forums, from Yahoogroups computerbusiness / computertechpros / SMBManagedServices to Technibble and PCBiz.org. I find that I am participating less in these forums, not because I don’t want to help, but rather I am tired of seeing the same questions over and over from new participants.
PCBiz.org brought a unique feature to the table that I like…a secure area where established business owners can discuss business issues without customers/end users seeing the posts. An added benefit of this structure is that it virtually eliminated the basic questions like “how do I form a LLC” and “do I have to collect sales tax”. Instead the members there are able to discuss the meat and potatoes of running businesses like having a frank discussion about our vendors, openly discussing margins and revenue producing ideas.
Unfortunately, PCBiz.org has been dying. The moderators rarely visit and the side effect of having such a restrictive setup is that it is hard to get new blood into the site. So, I have created a new site with a mixed structure based on an SMF Forum with several modules added in. Visit www.pcbusinessguide.com. I have decided to form a public area for technical issues and starting a business. then, I have an area for Verified Business Owners, for businesses that have been in operation for at least 6 months. I hope this will have the benefits of PCBiz.org without the pitfalls of such a restrictive membership.
